Turned parts to drawing

Precision up to 300 mm in diameter and 3,500 mm in length

At RS Randack, turned parts to drawing are precision parts made from the same materials and subject to the same testing as our special fasteners: flanges, bushings, sleeves, axles, shafts, pins, parallel pins, trapezoidal thread sleeves and hydraulic blocks, typically up to 300 mm in diameter and 3,500 mm in length, larger sizes on request. Turning is carried out on CNC turning centres with a steady rest for long, slender parts, with turned surfaces down to Ra 1.6, fits to H7 and tighter tolerances by grinding; milling, gear cutting, deep-hole drilling and induction-hardened zones are added in cooperation with partners.

For small series and first articles, a turned part is often the fastest route, including as a bridge part until a forming tool pays off. Every lot starts with a documented first article inspection based on the four-eyes principle; on request, we supply dimensional reports up to 100% inspection. How our turning shop works: CNC machining.
