Final inspection, packing and shipping

Each batch stays segregated, all the way into the box

Step 10

Each batch stays segregated, all the way into the box

The final step safeguards everything that was checked before. Final inspection in shipping checks dimensions, marking and completeness, packing is based on the weight and sensitivity of the parts, and nothing is delivered until the certificate has been released. Different batches never go into the same container: each batch stays segregated, all the way into the box.

Final inspection

Final inspection checks that all operations on the works order have been signed off, measures samples according to the inspection plan (more if anything is unusual) and checks marking, surface and threads. For 100% inspection, measurement is carried out on the optical measuring machine, with a dimensional report on request. Two employees sign off the release. If a third-party inspection has been ordered, it is completed before shipment; the 3.1 or 3.2 inspection certificate accompanies the delivery and is sent to the customer in advance as a file.

Frequently asked questions

Questions and answers about shipping

Can RS Randack ship directly to my customer in neutral packaging?

Yes. On request without RS Randack branding, with your delivery documents and labels.

What packaging is used for coated threads?

Protective netting or air cushioning for each part, separators between layers, no loose parts in bulk. Stud bolts with anti-friction coating are packed so that the coating remains undamaged in transit.

When do I receive the certificate?

Before delivery as a file, and in paper form with the goods. No order subject to third-party inspection leaves the plant without an approved certificate.
